I've done a little research, and it appears that the entire run has been reprinted recently in 9 comics by ACG. Is this correct? Does anyone know if the Sundays are in color? Does anyone recommend this? I'd prefer a nice hardcover or TPB, but I'm not against comics as long as its done well.

I don't know if it went nine issues, but I have at least five issues of Tales of the Green Berets, all in black and white. The repro is ok for the most part, I don't know if you could get these issues cheap or not, you probably could. Kubert is not to be missed under any circumstances.
